Preston Kent Reining, Nathan Kent Performance Horses and Sage Hill Arabians have had an incredible show at the 2013 Arabian US National Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Preston showed SH Cool Dude in the first go of the Half Arab Open Reining and marked a 214, leading the pack after the first go. Two days later he repeated that streak in the second go scoring a 213, also the highest score, making a composite score of 427.
On Tuesday evening Preston drew up first in the Half Arab Open Finals. He had a great ride and scored a 214.5, the highest score of the show up until that point. He held the high score until Tyson Randal showed Paulis Europena and also scored a 214.5. After all 10 riders showed, Preston and Tyson were still tied for first. A run-off was decided between Preston and Tyson for champion and reserve. Preston was up first again. He and SH Cool Dude started their pattern out strong but unfortunately in their second large fast circle, CD stumbled and Preston accidentally dropped a rein. SH Zeenormous is a 2008 purebred gelding by Vaguely Noble x Zee Norma Jean. He was previously owned by Sage Hill Arabians and Heritage Farms. He recently placed 6th at the 2013 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show in the Arabian Reining Futurity.

Thanks so much to the Scottsdale Classic Horse Show for adding Arabian/Half Arabian reining classes to the show schedule! We thought it was really great. It was so fun to watch the Half Arab class and the other reiner classes run concurrently. We thought the Arabians/Half Arabs looked really great! Good job to all who showed.

Nobles Joy is a filly by Nobles Top Gun out of Pamolinda. Joy was born spring of 2008 along with her twin brother Nobles Pride. Pride & Joy were unexpected twins. Although they were both small, they were healthy and strong foals.
Joy is now owned by Ann Gauntlett/Wanderlust Arabians of Fort Collins, Colorado. Joy has been in training with Preston since Fall 2010. She is coming along very nicely and is currently preparing to be shown in reining futurities in 2013.

Congratulations to Diane Comeau of Alberta, Canada on her purchase of the 2010 Half Arabian gelding by Buenos Partee Dude x Noble Duchess (owned by Sage Hill Arabians). This horse looks just like his brother, SH Cool Dude, the 2012 Scottsdale Half Arabian Futurity Finalist, 3rd and 2011 Half Arabian Futurity Finalist.
