Preston Kent is a reining horse trainer located in Ogden, Utah – about 40 miles North of Salt Lake City. He trains Quarter Horses and also Arabian and Half-Arabians. He has been riding and training horses since he was very young. He is incredibly passionate about the sport of reining. Preston has many years of showing and training experience. He has apprenticed with NRHA Hall-of-Famer, Clint Haverty, as well as Kim Wagoner, and Talmage Smedley. He has placed Top 5 at the
Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, U.S. Nationals, Region IV, Region III, and the Scottsdale Classic Horse Show. Preston trains out of Heritage Ranch. Heritage has been a wonderful facility to train reining horses at. The ground is just right for sliding, and there is plenty of room to circle and slide in both the indoor and outdoor arenas. Feel free to stop by and watch Preston in action. The ranch can be seen off the East side of I-15 in Farr West.
