SH Cool Dude

us arabian nationals

Preston showed SH Cool Dude in the first go of the Half Arab Open Reining and marked a 214, leading the pack after the first go. Two days later he repeated that streak in the second go scoring a 213, also the highest score, making a composite score of 427.

On Tuesday evening Preston drew up first in the Half Arab Open Finals. He had a great ride and scored a 214.5, the highest score of the show up until that point. He held the high score until Tyson Randal showed Paulis Europena and also scored a 214.5. After all 10 riders showed, Preston and Tyson were still tied for first. A run-off was decided between Preston and Tyson for champion and reserve. Preston was up first again. He and SH Cool Dude started their pattern out strong but unfortunately in their second large fast circle, CD stumbled and Preston accidentally dropped a rein. In a heart breaking turn of events Preston had to stop CD to pick up his rein and his pattern was over, they of course zeroed. We are so

Not only does Equine Oasis sell saddles, it also has bits, pads, headstalls, and other tack. Check them out on their website  www.equineoasis.com or at their booth at the next reining show you are at. Tim Bauer has given us great customer service and has been wonderful to work with. We highly recommend Equine Oasis!

The Kent Family was very sorry to hear of the passing of Noble Iceman. This sad news came as a great shock and disappointment. Horses like him do not come around often. He was one of the finest results of over 30 years of breeding. He was an example of the pride and vision that go into producing quality Arabians. I myself have never been so captivated by one individual horse, both by his beauty and also his mental and physical talent. He was an inspiration to me as a young trainer. He gave me something to look forward to each day and something to take pride in. And now, though we acknowledge that we can never fully replace Iceman, the dream of producing more horses like him is what drives us forward. Our hearts go out to the Golestani family, for we know that they too have suffered a great loss. Not only those who have been involved with Iceman, but also the Arabian breed will miss this great stallion. It was a privilege to be a part of his life and I am grateful that he was a part of mine.
