Here are the highlights from the 2026 Cactus Reining Classic!
Shiner Voodoo Time (Shiners Voodoo Dr x Chic Lil Ruby) scored a 216 in the Open Derby, placing reserve champion (tie) in the Level 1 and 7th (tie) in the Level 2. Sarai Williamson also showed him and won the 1st slate of the Novice Horse Non Pro Level 2! She also showed in the Novice Horse Non Pro and placed 3rd (tie) in the Level 3 and 7th in the Level 2. She also ended up winning a Top 5 buckle in the Novice Horse Non Pro Level 2 Circuit. Awesome job, Sarai!
Smart Chic Magnum (Magnum With A Dream x Juana Trick Ya) scored a 214.5 in the Open Derby, placing 4th (tie) in the Level 1 and 12th (tie) in the Level 2. Congratulations to owners, Droptine Ranch!
Liz Eaves showed her mare, Gotta Get Her Gun (Spooks Gotta Whiz x This Chic Guns It) and placed 2nd (tie) in the Intermediate Non Pro, 3rd (tie) in the Limited Non Pro and 7th in the Non Pro. She also ended up winning a Top 5 buckle in the Intermediate Non Pro Circuit. Way to go, Liz!
